Jillian Loux was the leadoff batter for the Lady Eagles and started the game off with a walk.  She advanced to third base but didn't score due to back to back strike outs.  Bunche scored 5 runs the first inning on walks and errors.  Olivia Packwood started the second inning and was hit by a pitch.  Olivia scored and the Lady Eagles were on the scoreboard.  Bunche scored an addition 4 runs the second.  Drew was down 9 - 1 at the top of the third inning.  Kimoni Gray was up to bat with two out in the 3rd inning and walked.  Justice Edwards was up at bat with a 1 and 1 count, 2 outs, Kimoni on 1st when she drilled a deep fly ball up center field burning the center fielder.   Kimoni scored with Justice rounding the bases behind her.  Justice scored, hitting her first in the park home run of the year.  The fans and the team went ballistic.  Olivia was up and hit a nice shoot getting a single. The next batter made the third out  but Drew was now ready to play.  That homerun was the game changer Drew needed. 

Bunche was determined to continue to score but the Lady Eagles had other plans.  The leadoff batter walked and the 2nd batter hit a hot shot to Justice and she scooped  it up and threw the batter out going to 1st.  Kimoni threw 5 pitches, striking the next two batters out.  The Lady Eagles held them to 9 runs. 

The Lady Eagles continued to fight!  Kimoni and Justice were once again on the base.  Olivia was up at bat and hit a line drive to the pitcher.  The next two batter weren't so fortunate.  Bunche was looking scared.  The first batter up struck out.  The second batter hit a grounder to Justice on 3rd and she threw her out.  The 3rd batter hit a grounder to Kimoni on the mound and Kimoni threw her out.  Taylor Sturdivant was holding 1st base down and the Lady Eagles defense was tight.    

Autumn Green and Caylee Nunnally, and Jillian walked.  When Kimoni came up to bat with base runners, she hit a hot shot down 3rd base.  Bunche made a bad throw and the Lady Eagles ran the bases like never before.  Bunche attempted tag Jillian between 2nd and 3rd but missed the tag, Jillian continued to run to 3rd overrunning the bag.  Jicllian ran home and the defense made a bad throw.  Coach Casetta sent all the baserunners home, even Kimoni.  Kimoni was safe and the team and Drew fans celebrated.  Bunche was furious!  Kimoni hit her first in the park homerun.  The Lady Eagles were back in the game.  Olivia was up at bat and was hit by a pitch.  The last our was a strikeout and the time had expired.  

Oh what a game!  The Lady Eagles never quit and fought to the bitter end.
